When I saw Palm Vaults on instagram, I just knew I had to visit. Palm Vaults is described as the most instagrammable cafe in East London so I was excited to see if the cafe would meet my expectations. We arrived on a very cold day in April and after doing some marvelling at how much Hackney has changed (!), we found the cafe and just approaching the pink and green storefront had me eager to see more.
We walked in and thankfully it wasn’t so busy in the weekday, so we were instantly led to marble table in the pink cafe. For a moment, we sat there and took in the surroundings with the green plants hanging off the ceiling contrasting beautifully with the millennial pink walls. I fell in love with the decor and honestly loved the fact the pink was made to feel less girly and more street with clashes of green throughout the cafe. I don’t normally drink coffee but I ordered the red velvet coffee and the slice of the pink strawberry cake that was on their counter.
When the food arrived, I loved how instagram worthy it was. The drinks were all decorated with flower petals and stencilled patterns and even the plates the cakes were served on were marble and coloured to look instagram worthy with the marble tabletops acting as their backdrops. The service was lovely, the girls were so patient letting me take a thousand photos and taking over the cafe in the process.
I hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to follow my blog if you did,
