Westfield and Hearst bought fashion to the masses with exclusive runaway shows and on the spot beauty treatments.
For a second year, Westfield collaborated with Hearst magazines to bring fashion and beauty to its customers in their White City shopping centre. The ‘On Trend’ event took place over a weekend and had complimentary treatments for visitors to try out. I attended on a Friday night so it was busy but I still enjoyed taking in the runaway shows and sampling the beauty products which were on display.
The ground floor of the atrium in Westfield was set up as a beauty bar with a wide range of treatments on offer. GHD were offering styling sessions with one of their hairdressers, Murad had mini facials on offer whilst Charlotte Tilbury had a beauty bar offering makeovers using their latest products.
The runaway shows were a great treat with the latest trends on display. The show featured brands such as Warehouse, Maje, Jigsaw, John Lewis and Ted Baker. It was great to see the clothes being worn so you could workout whether the trends would translate into real life for you as an individual. I headed to Warehouse straightaway to check out one of their dresses on the catwalk. The whole event was well organised and the interactive displays meant that I spent time talking to people and trying out their products. Pandora were also offering great discounts and a chance to win a £100 voucher for their jewellery as well.
I hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to give my blog a follow if you did,
