Ever since Boots has started to stock NYX Cosmetics, i have been looking forward to having a look at their new counters. I love the fact the brand has gone mainstream and has finally hit the UK beauty market in a big way. I kept having to head to Selfridges to check out their NYX counter and it has been a small selection and not always well stocked so i have not always enjoyed shopping there.
I was desperate to try out the NYX Super Skinny Eye Marker but it was hard to get a hold of one to try out. The nib on the marker is small and fine and it is so easy to apply. It dries matte when you apply it and you only have to use small strokes to create the perfect eye liner. It doesn’t last all day though so i think i will continue to use it and layer it with my usual liner to smooth over my messy eye liner everyday.
I have been obsessed with Kaushal’s YouTube channel and one tip i have picked up is to use a nude or white eyeliner inside my eyes to widen my eyes when i wear black liner for special occasions. It has incredible staying power and does stay on all day.
I have been trying to find some good eye bases for a long time to make my eyeshadow pop and i have finally found them. When i first swatched the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in store, i loved how pigmented it was and how it wouldn’t rub off easily. They look great layered with eyeshadows and they do last so well, even on the oiliest of eyelids. Both these shades so pretty on the eyes and i would highly recommend them.
The whole reason i found the NYX brand was because of these babies, the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. The colours are beautiful and they look amazing. The staying power on these is great and they are very well pigmented and hydrating on the lips. My favourite colours are Abu Dhabi and Prague and i have nearly run out of them as i wear them so often. The applicator is small but it is easy to be very precise with them too, even on the move.
I hope you enjoyed my NYX haul and don’t forget to give me a follow or like if you did,
