Moonpig invited me and my mum to spend a an early Mother’s Day with them and check out the fantastic range of Mother’s Day gifts they have available this year.
Mother’s Day is a special day for all of us and regardless whether it is your mother or someone you think of as your mother, it is a day to make them feel special and reminding them that they are loved. On a rainy Sunday afternoon, we were invited Moonpig HQ to try out their Mother’s Day experience and spend some quality time together.
On arrival, we were greeted with cocktails or in our case, mocktails, and invited to take our seats to watch a presentation about Moonpig. Once finished, we were put on a rotation of workshops. Our first workshop was cocktail making where were invited to make own cocktail/mocktails. We had a demonstration on how to make them a la Tom Cruise and then we were given the recipe to make our own. The cocktails were called goldfish bags like the old school goldfishes you could get at the funfair in the 1990s. The mocktail came out absolutely delicious and we sipped on it whilst catching with other bloggers and their mums.
Next up, we had the afternoon tea. It was set up with all the flowers that you can buy from the website for Mother’s Day. They were all really beautifully set out and as we settled down for afternoon tea, we admired them in their glory. The afternoon tea was yummy, set up with the usual set up of sandwiches, scones and desserts which we nibbled through and chatted about the range.
After our tea, we had our session make Mother’s Day cards using photos that we had taken together in the photo booth. It was so easy to do and honestly took minutes to make the card and send it to ourselves for a later date.
Lastly, we had the flower workshop where we had our go at flower arranging and learning about how we could look after flowers. I learnt some great tips and it was fun to actually learn about flowers from a fresh perspective.
We had a great time at the Moonpig workshop and loved the workshops that we could try out and have a play. Do check out the Mother’s Day range on the Moonpig website.
**The experience was gifted but I was under no obligation to post.
