#GGBlogChallenge Day 16: My favourite beauty products

20160911_162322

Being a beauty blogger means that i am constantly trying out new products and seeing if they live up to what they are saying. The products i mention in this post are ones that have crept into my daily make up bag and have stayed.

Huda Beauty Lip Contours and Liquid Matte Lipsticks

I don’t think there has been a beauty product i have been more excited to release than i was for the Huda Beauty lip products and i own both the lip contours and liquid mattes in all the colours. The thing which i really like about them is the fact they are so hydrating and long lasting. Once i wear them, they don’t budge all day or fade either, no matter how many drinks i drink.

Illamasqua Precision Gel Liner

I found the Illamasqua Precision Gel Liner purely by mistake. I was in Selfridges and wandered to their counter to try out their lipsticks and saw a girl with fantastic eye liner. It looked so amazing that i had to try it out. I am used to using the liquid liners but this gel liner amazing. It dries matte and stays for such a long time. Whenever i wear it, i always get comments and it has a lovely smooth texture when i apply it.

Naked skin complete coverage concealers

I was devoted to my NARS Radiant Creamy concealer until i found the Naked skin complete coverage concealer and fell for them hard. They apply so smoothly and they cover up all my dark under eye circles and acne scars without even creasing throughout the day. The applicator on these is so soft too and you can really manipulate the product for your desired effect.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow

The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow was the product which introduced me to the brand. The packaging looked so beautiful and both the bronzer and the highlighter are really well pigmented. I have just started to hit pan on the bronzer as i use that the most but it does add the most subtle shadows and highlights.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

The Urban Decay Naked Palette is a firm cult beauty favourite and there’s no wonder when it is such a versatile product. The eyeshadows are well pigmented and so easy to blend together. I use this for my everyday eye look and i use it for evenings, smoking it up using the darker shades. They are brilliant for skin tone and compliment all my looks perfectly.

The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder Barest Lip Colour in ‘So Bare’

When i first bought this Estee Edit lipstick, i thought it would become one of those lip products that i bought on a whim but never used. However, this has become a firm favourite for me and it sits in my handbag as an emergency lip fix. I usually layer pink lip gloss over the top to create a nice natural lip when i am not feeling a strong lip colour.

MAC Retro Matte Lipcolor

The MAC Retro Matte Lipcolors were what started my love affair with liquid lipsticks. These have proven time and time again to me how long lasting and comfortable they are to wear. You only need to apply these in one layer and you don’t need to look back on them at all. I love them and a true staple addition to my make up collection.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

No matter what foundation i have ever tried, the NARS Sheer Glow foundation is one that i always go back to. It is lightweight and creates a lovely glow on my skin without my skin coming across as shiny or too oily. It has a lovely finish and i really like it as my everyday foundation.

Urban Decay De-Slick MakeUp Setting Spray

I never used to use a setting spray until the last couple of years. Excuse the grottiness of my bottle, but it just shows how well used mine is. In these hot summer days we have had in the UK, my make up has not budged when i have worn this spray and it dries matte too.

Vatika Hair Coconut Hair Oil

Vatika Hair Oil is something which i have grown up with as i have had long hair all my life. However once i turned 16, i stopped using hair oil, leaving my hair rather dry and lank over the years. About five years ago, i became obsessed with getting my hair back to a healthy state and have been using this coconut oil on a regular basis. My hair has started to grow again and has become silky and shiny again. I love it and will continue to use it for many years to come.

I hope you enjoyed this post and don’t forget to give me a like or a follow if you did,

Sanoobar x
