Covent Garden in London is blooming lovely this time of year and I went along to see the Fleur De Villes and enjoy all the floral goodness.
It is no secret that Covent Garden is one of my favourite places in London. I have real love for the area and I fall a little bit more for it when it is decorated in flowers. I went last year and this year is no different. Every inch of Covent Garden has been covered in floral displays with all the retailers going the extra mile to make sure we are wowed by their creativity. My personal favourites have to be the rabbit at Olivia Burton and of course, that now infamous pink car filled to the brim with flowers. If only I could take that car home for me!
In the centre of the Covent Garden square is Fleur de Villes, loosely translated as floral village and what a village it is. I love the simply gorgeous floral dresses on all the models and this year, they have gone all out. I loved the pink feathered creation with pink and white roses, the Wicked Witch and of course, Mary Queen of Scots.
If you are in London this weekend, make sure you pop to Covent Garden and go check it out for yourself. It is only there till Sunday.
