Chelsea In Bloom: Chelsea’s annual flower show

On a very sunny Saturday morning, I headed to Chelsea to go on a floral jungle safari. As the RHS Chelsea Flower Show came to London, Chelsea in Bloom extends the show into the local neighbourhood.

The annual floral festival saw the area transform into floral art with a variety of wildlife for this year’s ‘Floral Safari’ theme. Each of the 50 shop fronts, restaurants and hotels competing for the awards, produced by Cadogan in association with the RHS.

Armed with a map, i wandered through Chelsea’s streets looking out for life size animals including an elephant, rhino, lion, zebras and crocodiles. Each animal was a work of art and they were so much fun to discover on the street corners.

I had a great time, and it was fantastic to see the flower show take over an area and inspire everyone visiting to try their hand at gardening and appreciate nature at its best.

I hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to give this post a like or my blog a follow if you did,

I love your photographs and you are making me wish I’d taken some with the animals too now! Next year we’ll have to go together! 🙂 x
