Blogosphere Awards 2018

The Blogosphere Awards each year celebrate the achievements of bloggers in the UK. It was a great night, filled with lots of awards at the Tab Centre in Shoreditch.

It is not every day that I can get my glam on and attend an awards ceremony but then again the annual Blogosphere Awards are not any ordinary awards ceremony. After the fantastic ceremony I went to last year, I had to go along this year and watch the winners on stage. Being held at the Tab Centre in Shoreditch, Blogosphere could not have had a better location for the ceremony. It was the perfect, edgy and up and coming area to host the hugely forward looking Blogosphere Awards.

I got to the ceremony rather early but was happy to hang out in the sunshine and watch the red carpet being set up. There were other bloggers milling around so we got some photos taken and then waited to be shown in. Once inside, the centre was split in two – one side had the ceremony stage and dinner tables whilst the other had the sponsors laid out exhibition style. All our tweets were being projected onto the stage so it was great feeling to see myself on there the moment I walked into the venue.

Blogosphere had pulled out the stops when it came to the sponsors, there were so many on display. I was particularly enamoured with the sweet stand and the Olympus stand. Olympus had their beautiful navy blue camera on show, which honestly took my heart the moment I saw it. It looks amazing and I am definitely putting it on my wish list for Christmas.

We were given a hot meal which I really appreciated before the ceremony started. The ceremony itself was entertaining with the Lean Machine boys hosting the evening. Their banter and enthusiasm gave the ceremony a good pace and I loved seeing the winners getting their awards.
