Autumn trends are hitting the high street, so here is all you need to know about the pieces you should be investing in this upcoming season.
With the steaming hot summer finally being over, I am excited to see what Autumn trends are filling up the high street and I can finally start planning my Autumn wardrobe. I love this season with the knitted jumpers and boots coming out of the closet and outfits becoming much more suited to curvy body types. Autumn brings a whole new batch of fashion with British heritage taking centre stage, blazer dresses smartening up the work wardrobe and florals darkening up for the colder months.
The colour green
Green is definitely the colour making a comeback in the Autumn with every shade from khaki to emerald creeping into our wardrobes. This dress from Hidden Fashion Official is a lovely transition piece. The midi length and twisted knot on the front gives it a fresh update in anyone’s wardrobe and you can easily update the dress with a black knit and knee high boots as the weather gets colder.
The blazer dress
Workwear is tricky in the colder months and the urge to just cover yourself in a huge duvet is always tempting. I have been loving the blazer dress trend which look smart but also so fashion forward as well. This one from Hidden Fashion Official is in a lovely shade of pink and you can easily take it from day to night with a pair of heels and a silk cami underneath.
Florals are getting a winter update and they are definitely here to stay. Florals on dresses and blouses are mixed up in various colours and still have the potential to look just as pretty as they did in Spring. This dress from Hidden Fashion Official has strong Spring vibes and I can see myself dressing it up with a long sleeve top underneath and knee high boots to keep myself warm whilst wearing on colder days.
Trends I am looking into…
There are other Autumn trends I am looking into and working into my wardrobe slowly. British Heritage is big this year with checked coats and outfits, inspired by HM the Queen’s Balmoral look. Long check coats and patterned silk scarves and dresses are going to be the trends to be tapping into. Animal prints, from leopard to snake skin, are the Autumn trend which is going to slither and creep onto us this season. I am loving the animal print midi dresses and leopard print knitted jumpers. Brown is the new black this year with camel coats being in and ribbed dresses adopting the trend.
I want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to Hidden Fashion Official for gifting me these beautiful dresses. I hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to give my blog a follow if you did,
