I was given the ageLOC® Tru Face® Essence at the Nu Skin event earlier this year and i was honestly curious to try it. It is a bit early for me to be trying out anti-ageing products but i had run out of face serum so i thought why not try this out. It comes in a glass jar and when you open it up, the serum is individually packaged in separate capsules.

Each capsule is tiny and are made out of plastic. You twist the smaller end of the capsule and the serum flows smoothly out of it. The first thing that struck me about the serum is how smoothly it applies onto my skin. It makes my skin feel like velvet and by the end of the jar, i could see my skin feeling plumper and rejuvenated. In the summer, i find my skin gets incredibly oily but i do still need a light skincare routine. The serum has helped my skin keep hydrated and it is perfect under my light moisturiser and creates a lovely bump free base for my foundation.

Would i repurchase? I think if i have the opportunity to, i will. I really do like the formula and as i am getting nearer to the end of the jar, i will miss this as part of my skincare routine.

Hi there… nice article but the capsules are made from seaweed. If you leave one out in the air you’ll notice it feels softer and ‘melted’…

I did do this and even took a few with me to Dubai but had no such issues.
