Cream Tea at Bill’s is a great way to spend an afternoon in Greenwich and the tea was delicious.
No trip to Greenwich is complete without an afternoon tea. I had intended to visit The Orangery at the Fan Museum but sadly it was closed so we ended up in Bill’s. Now Bill’s is a chain restaurant but it is with a huge difference. I find every Bill’s to have a great environment, decorated with very kitsch decor and they even produce their own condiments as well. As I hadn’t had my promised afternoon tea, I settled for the Cream Tea with tea whilst Jessie had it with prosecco.
We even pushed the boat out with mini cinnamon doughnuts. I had the green tea and honestly, it was delicious. The scones arrived fresh and warm on the plate and the homemade jam with the clotted cream was so yum. I really enjoyed them and I barely had any space left for the doughnuts. The cinnamon doughnuts were the stars of the show, soft and fresh with strawberries cut among them and salted caramel sauce placed alongside them.
I had a great time trying out the cream tea and it was a nice little morning snack to have on a Saturday morning. I hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to give my blog a follow if you did,
