On a rather cold and miserable day in London, i met up with some of my friends for a hen party on a double decker London bus. I love an afternoon tea and the novelty of having it on a bus while being driven around my favourite city was hard not to miss. The bus picked us up at Trafalgar Square before driving us around London’s most famous landmarks.
When we boarded the bus, it was already set up for the tea with the food laid out according to our dietary requirements. I had the vegetarian tea with sandwiches, desserts, croissants, mousse and cakes all looking tasty and delicious. There was plenty to eat and i was honestly full by the time i had finished.
The waistresses on board gave us our hot drinks in a plastic thermal cup to avoid spillages and there was a wide range of teas, coffees and also hot chocolate to choose from. I had the hot chocolate and the green tea and they kept me warm in the freezing cold weather. I had a great time and I strangely got used to being stared at by passers by as the bus drove through the London streets. However, i would recommend that if you do choose to do this, you should do it in warmer weather.
