Greenwich is one of the best places to have a day out in London, visiting the naval college and having brunch.
Greenwich in South East London is one of my favourite places to be in the weekend. It is the perfect place to be in London when you want to have a long walk, take in the sights and just enjoy the buzz of being in a haven in the midst of the city. Greenwich is only across the business district of Canary Wharf and is accessible not only by train and car but also by river boat.

Old Royal Naval College
I love visiting the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich and it has an impressive presence. It was a training college for naval officers in the 1800s, ideally placed next to the River Thames. Just walking along the river, you can feel the royal presence and it is impressive. You can also visit the Painted Hall which is simply stunning and definitely worth a look if you haven’t been before.
One thing that I love about Greenwich is the fact there is always something going on. With some the biggest films made in the area, it was no surprise that there was a live film set on site when I visited.
Brunch at The Grind
The Grind is one of my favourite places to brunch and the one in Greenwich is amazing. We were served immediately and the avocado on sourdough toast is delicious. They also do a hot chocolate with coconut milk and honestly, it is melted chocolate in a cup.
I loved visiting Greenwich and if you are in London, go and check it out and just enjoy the gorgeous views of the city from a distance.
