Cherry Blossom Festival is upon us

Cherry blossom backdrops are the holy grail when it comes to blogger goals. Every blogger is desperately looking for the famous cherry blossom trees to take photos against and with that aim in mind, I trekked around most of Kensington to find those trees. Unfortunately I was a little too early and they had not bloomed yet so I went home disappointed and rather damp (it was pouring down with rain when we went looking!).

Instead I discovered on instagram that Broadgate had a room full of cherry blossom trees to take photos in so I hot footed it to Liverpool Street to do just that. Sense of Space is a multi sensory exhibition which aims to open up the senses for its visitors with four different rooms designed to make you leave the city bustle behind. The rooms featured are Mr Doodle’s work, a human activated interactive art screen and an ode to the Japanese Garden complete with cherry blossom trees and fairy lights.

I fell in love with the Japanese Infinity Garden the moment I walked in and it is just so pretty. I loved taking lots of photos and the changing lighting meant you could enjoy it in its complete glory. It is really beautiful and completely free to visit so if you are in the area, it is a must see!
