With International Women’s Day being a huge celebratory event last week, West Elm invited us to their store in Tottenham Court Road to meet some fantastic women who were making it their own in the world. We were greeted wait some refreshing cocktails, mocktails for me and lead to the back of the store where the event would be taking place.
The centre piece of the event were doughnuts made into the words ‘International Women’s Day’ which were actually delicious and so well made. Doughnut in hand, we settled down to listen to some fantastic female entrepreneurs speak about the journey. On the panel were Sarah Brown, founder of Pai Skincare, Donna Wilson, founder of Donna Wilson Knitwear and Alice Cripps, founders of Posh Totty Designs and hosted by Laura Jane Williams.
It was inspirational to hear these fantastic women speak about how they got their businesses and how they juggled their personal lives with their work lives to set up their own legacies. On a side note, West Elm is such an amazing store and complete home goals, I want everything!
