Happy New Year! New year, new start. We all know the drill. Today’s the day we make all the new year’s resolutions that we inevitably give up by the end of the month and feel ridiculously guilty about it for all of five minutes before we all get on with our lives.
So what did I promise myself in 2017:
1. Blog more, YouTube more.
2. Save more
3. Have fun
So how did I do? I think you will all agree if you have been reading my blog that I have upped my game this year. I have tried to stick to my content plans and ensure that I do post as often as possible. I have also been working on my photography too, which has taken the quality of my post up to a more professional note. YouTube, I did venture into properly this year but have struggled to make regular content. The lack of space I have means that I can’t usually film sit down videos. Something I hope will be changing this year..
I did save more and I am proud to say that I finally have my own home. I will be creating some content around my new home and share how I managed to save up for it. I do hope that once we move in, I can actually start filming YouTube videos on the regular.
I did make a note of trying to enjoy myself a bit more. I made it a priority to ensure that whatever events I attended this year, I did take some time to just enjoy them too. I made some fantastic blogger friends this year and it was because of this resolution that I did meet them.
With 2018 looming, what do I want to achieve:
- Get YouTube nailed down I want to get my YouTube channel going on a more serious note so those sit down videos will be coming soon.
- Spend more time with loved ones Being so busy all the time means that I don’t usually get time to breathe and spend time with the people I love.
- Focus on photography I have got better with the photos for my blog posts but I want to get better at my flatlays and work on building a real audience on my instagram.
I really do wish all of you all the best for 2018. Ignore the pants news that we get throughout the year and focus on things that make you happy.
Happy New Year again,
