Lush know skincare and they definitely know how to create a good face mask. Lush stores are always a myriad of smells, colours and textures but what makes them truly special are their sales assistants. They could sell ice to an eskimo, they know what to say to make me buy one of everything in store, every time I go in there. On one such visit, I was persuaded to try Lush’s Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask.
My skin has been dehydrated of late with the constant changes in weather so I wanted a face mask that would help brighten and refresh my complexion. The Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask has kaolin, calamine and Turkish rose oil to help calm the skin and restore its natural balance. The mask smells incredible and the soft pink colour means that it is so blogger friendly. You have to keep the masks in the fridge as you have to with all of Lush’s fresh masks so it is cold when you first get it out. It felt cooling as I smoothed the mask over my face, instantly soothing my skin and making it feel like it was getting all the good out of the mask.
I could instantly feel the mask getting to work. I left it on for half an hour while it dried, before I washed it off. It left my skin feeling smooth, fresh and so clean. The mask really works and I have been using it once a week as part of my Sunday pamper routine.
The mask can be found here.
