My favourite books of the moment // #BookLoversDay

Happy Book Lovers Day! Whether it is a real day or not, I truly think that reading and loving books enriches your very soul. I have been in love with books before I even knew what it was to fall in love with fairytales and escape into another world. I really enjoy the fact that simply diving into a book means I forget life’s challenges and problems and fall in love with new characters and their lives. As it is Book Lovers Day today, I thought I would share some coffee table books that I have found myself reaching for since the last couple of months when I have needed some inspiration.

Ctrl Alt Delete: How I Grew Up Online Emma Gannon

I have loved Emma Gannon’s podcasts, if you have not heard them then you are missing out especially if you are a budding blogger, youtuber or just trying to get your life back together. When I heard that Emma was releasing her own book, I was so excited to get my hands on it and give it a read. Emma is a great storyteller and her book ‘Ctrl Alt Delete: How I Grew Up Online’ is a reflection of my life on paper. She discusses the challenges of growing up with the internet in the background with messy MSN chats, finding the perfect profile photo and the complication of knowing which is the real you, online or offline.

How to be a Bawse Lilly Singh

Lilly Singh is one YouTuber who I have loved for a long time. I remember her creating videos in her bedroom in Canada and now she is a super youtuber. She loves her team, her family, her friends and her YouTube family and her success has never changed her. Lilly still gets excited when she receives things as a blogger and she vlogs every single day, sharing her YouTube journey. She works hard, there is no doubt about that and her book are her life lessons. ‘How to be a Bawse’ is inspiration, Lilly style and she shares her life lessons and her advice is no nonsense. I admire her for it.

Hello Glow: Natural Beauty Recipes for a Fresh New You Stephanie Gerber

It is no secret that I am obsessed with beauty and I am becoming more and more interested in natural skincare. As my acne has finally calmed down, I am really scared of trying any products that are too harsh so I really loved that one of my dear friends gave me ‘Hello Glow’. It is a book filled with homemade natural skincare and I can’t wait to try them out in the near future.

I don’t own many physical books anymore as I am a Kindle reader now. I love the physical books but I just don’t have the shoulders anymore to carry heavy books around with me when I am out and about. I love the fact that my Kindle can have so many books on there and I can have two or three books on the go and alternate between them. It is great to take on holiday with me too!

I hope you enjoyed my post taking a look at some of the books that have been inspiring me. Don’t forget to like this post and give my blog a follow if you did,

Sanoobar x
