Lipbalms are probably the most boring things to talk about but i wish more people did. Though they are not as sexy as lipsticks, being on roaccutane for my skin has meant my lips have been cracking and so dry in this ever changing weather. I have found it so difficult to actually find lipbalms that actually do what they say. I have needed a lipbalm that can keep my lips hydrated for more than ten minutes and that has proven to be difficult. First up of my favourites is the Burt’s Bees Revitalising Lipbalm in Blueberry and Chocolate which has been great for top ups throughout the day. I have one in my car, at work and at home and it has really helped keep my lips feeling smooth and hydrated throughout the day.
I was given this White Rabbit Lipbalm as a sample but i fell in love with it when i had forgotten my lipbalm on my way home one day. The balm smells delicious in chocolate orange flavour and i literally want to eat it when i put it on. The only thing i don’t love about it is the fact that it comes in a tub. It is messy when i have to put it on, on the move but it does have a lovely texture.
I have to bow down to Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips. This has been the sole reason that my lips have survived the winter and the drying out due to my acne medication. When you put it on, it is incredibly sticky and i honestly avoid using my fingers because it is so hard to get off my fingertips. However once it is on my lips, it stays on. Even after the formula wears out, underneath my lips still feel hydrated. I am so incredibly thankful to the Dr Lipp team for creating this product and i really hope they come up with a stick version of this stuff because i love it.
I hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to give me a like or this blog a follow if you did,
