Cornwall has to be one of my favourite places in the UK to travel to. It feels like another world out there and i just love the fact that you can drive around and just stop at the coast and admire the views. The people in Cornwall are incredibly friendly too and are always happy to have a chat with you as you discover the region. When i went to visit Cornwall this time, i went to visit Land’s End and St Ives.
Land’s End is the furthest point of the UK where you cannot travel any further and the views from the cliffs were simply mindblowing. There are lots of small cafes in Land’s End too where you can get some food and watch the waves coming in and out and creating this rugged landscape. I opted to get a Cornish clotted cream ice cream which was delicious and perfect for my sunny day visit.
St Ives in Cornwall is one destination which is literally postcard perfect. It does look as though someone has placed everything just where it is to create the perfect photograph. It is still a working harbour to this day so you do see a lot fishing boats out and about and seafood meals that you can get in the restaurants around St Ives are delicious.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I did also vlog my visit to Cornwall and Exeter which can be found below. Unfortunately i am not speaking on them as i had managed to lose my voice before i headed there!
