Tanya Burr Cosmetics Eyeshadow Review and Swatches

Even before i decided to create my own blog and start writing for myself, i was watching Tanya Burr on YouTube. There was something about her positivity and her passion for beauty that drew me in and got me hooked on her videos. About a year ago, Tanya came out with her own line of lip glosses and nail varnishes but as neither were something that i was really into at the time, i didn’t buy any. However over a year on, Tanya came out with her Soft Luxe collection and this time i had to sit up and take notice. This range seems like a more grown up and luxury version of her make up collection and the colours are just simply beautiful. She has two eye shadow palettes in this range called Enchanted Dream and Birthday Suit.

Tanya Burr Enchanted Dream eye palette £6

The Enchanted Dream palette is one of the more girly shades with purples and pinks. They are well pigmented with Moonlit Walk and Cocoa Plum providing a neutral base with Berry Souffle and Magic Carpet being the more dramatic shades to add the details. As you can tell from the swatches, they are a bit light for my skin tone so i would need to build up the colours to make it really smokey.

Tanya Burr Birthday Suit eyeshadow palette £6

I loved the Birthday Suit palette as soon as i had seen it online. It has some beautiful colours and i can imagine using them to create some drama on the eyes when doing a smokey brown eye look. The glittery shadow Cocoa Sugar is so beautifully pigmented, i can imagine pressing it onto a rather plain eye look to make it pretty.

Tanya Burr Hollywood Eye eyeshadow palette £6

Though this is not a part of the Soft Luxe collection, the Hollywood Eye palette has some lovely bronze gold warm tones and i think they will create some beautiful everyday looks. My favourite shade in this palette has to be enchantment, it is glittery and so pretty.

Tanya Burr Soft Luxe Lip Gloss in ‘Martha Moo’ £5.99

P1060997

The Tanya Burr Lip Glosses as part of the luxe collection were being advertised as Matte and this is rather deceiving as they definitely have a shiny sheen to them. The Martha Moo shade is one of the most popular and i have to admit that when i first wore it, i was taken aback by how bright the shade was. However when i blot my lips, the pink is rather wearable and does make a nice everyday pink.

I hope you enjoyed this review, don’t forget to give me a like or a follow,

Sanoobar x
