I was very excited to get my hands on these Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection Essentials brushes. If you are a beauty lover, chances are you will have quite an extensive collection of brushes and Real Techniques do the best face make up brushes out there. When came across these on Love the Sales, reduced from £60 to £30, i knew that i just had to get my hands on them.

When i first took them out of the packaging, what struck me was how shiny they were in gold, silver and rose gold. They do look like professional brushes and you can tell from the moment you hold them that they are really well made. I love the grip on them too, with a slightly angular edge to them, it means you can grip them very well.

The brushes are very dense which means you can pick up product very easily and they disperse onto the face very smoothly two.

You get three brushes in the pack:

  • 103 Angled Powder – perfect for contouring
  • 200 Oval Shadow – brilliant for blending in foundation or concealer
  • 300 Tapered Brush – great for highlighting

I don’t normally contour and highlight everyday but it is nice to have these brushes to do this when i do feel like glamming up. If you are starting out in make up and want  a ‘special’ set of brushes to contour and highlight, these will be perfect for you. When it comes to cleaning them, product washes off really easily too so they do a big thumbs up from me. The best part is that they are in the beauty sale so what is the harm in added these to your collection!
