I do love London Fashion Week, the fashion, the glamour and the who’s who of the fashion world all descend upon London’s pavements to check out the latest looks and show off some of their fashion talent too. Burberry Prorsum is one show that should never be missed and i love to check out the looks on every form of social media possible as the show takes place and take notes on the additions i would love to have in my wardrobe.
This year’s Spring/Summer Ready to Wear 2016 show was just as amazing and probably, in my opinion, one of the most wearable yet. Christopher Bailey really has thought about his customers this season and has created looks which can be emulated by the high street fashionistas and bought off the rack by the high end ones.
Bailey kept the traditional heritage undertones of the Burberry brand and has instead added simple details such as lace panelling on the dresses or gold cord on his jackets and trench coats to give them a fresh look. The iconic trench coat still featured in this collection and was also reimagined as a cape to ensure that it catered for all. Some of my favourites had to be the rock chic Burberry leather jacket with gold cord detail and the long cape which was draped over long cotton maxi dresses.
Check out some of my favourite looks from the show and give me a like if you enjoyed reading it!
